General
Care Guidelines
Removing
cuts and scratches
Because the beauty of solid surfaces goes all the way
through, they are completely renewable. You can remove minor
cuts and scratches yourself by following the instructions
noted in the chart.
Preventing heat damage
To prevent heat damage, always use a hot pad or a trivet with
rubber feet to protect your solid surfaces. Hot pans, as well
as some heat-generating appliances like frying pans or crock
pots, can damage the surface if a hot pad or trivet is
not used.
Preventing other damage
In most cases, solid surfaces can be repaired if accidentally
damaged. However, be sure to follow the guidelines here
to prevent any permanent damage to solid surfaces.
- Avoid
exposing solid surfaces to strong chemicals, such as paint
removers, oven cleaners, etc.
If contact occurs, quickly flush the surface with water.
- Remove
nail polish with a non-acetone-based nail polish remover
and flush with water.
- Do
not cut directly on solid surfaces countertops.
- Run
cold water when pouring boiling water into sinks.
Guaranteed quality
With proper care, the solid surfaces in your home will stay
looking like new. That's why every inch of solid surface
is backed by a 10-year limited product warranty.
